Last updated: 6th November, 2025
This Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data on this website.
1) Controller (Art. 4(7) GDPR)
AYUNE GmbH, Plange Mühle 1, 40221 Düsseldorf, Germany E-mail for privacy queries: info@oaime.co
2) Website hosting and server logs
When you visit our site, the web server processes log data (e.g., IP address, date/time, URL, referrer, user agent).
Purpose/Legal basis: ensuring technical delivery, security, and error analysis (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Retention: logs are deleted once no longer needed for the purposes stated, typically within 7–30 days unless a security incident requires longer retention. Recipient/processor: Strato GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin; data processing is governed by a Data Processing Agreement (Art. 28 GDPR).
3) Newsletter sign-up (Double-Opt-In)
If you subscribe, we process your e-mail address (and any optional data you provide). We use a double-opt-in procedure and record your consent, the sign-up time, IP, and the content of the consent.
Purpose/Legal basis: sending the newsletter based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; Art. 7 GDPR for proof).
Mandatory/optional data: e-mail is required; any other fields are voluntary. Retention: we store your data until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent. We may retain proof of consent for up to 3 years after the last newsletter to defend against legal claims (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Email service provider (ESP): We use Mailchimp as a processor (Art. 28 GDPR).
If the ESP is in the EU/EEA: processing occurs in the EU/EEA.
If the ESP is outside the EU/EEA (e.g., USA): we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR) and, where necessary, additional safeguards. Details are available on request.
Performance/measurement tracking (optional): We may track newsletter openings and link clicks to improve content. This happens only with your consent as part of the sign-up. You can revoke that consent at any time (see Section 7). If you don’t consent, we will send the newsletter without tracking.
4) Cookies and similar technologies
This page is designed to run without non-essential cookies or trackers. If we later add tools that set cookies or access information on your device for analytics/marketing, we will request your prior consent and load such tools only after you agree.
5) Recipients and processing on our behalf
We share data with service providers (hosting, newsletter, IT support) strictly under Data Processing Agreements (Art. 28 GDPR). We do not sell your data.
6) International transfers
Where data is transferred to countries without an EU adequacy decision, we implement appropriate safeguards under Art. 46 GDPR (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) and assess additional measures where needed. Copies of the SCCs are available on request.
7) Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability(Art. 20), and—where processing is based on consent or legitimate interests—withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7(3)) and/or object (Art. 21). To exercise your rights, contact us at info@oaime.co
Unsubscribing/withdrawing consent: Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. You can also e-mail us at info@oaime.co to withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.
8) Obligation to provide data
You only need to provide the data required for the newsletter sign-up. Without it, we cannot send you the newsletter.
9) Supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, in particular at your habitual residence or at our registered office. Our competent authority is: Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (LDI NRW), Postfach 20 04 44, 40102 Düsseldorf, Germany.
